August 2012: The wind turbine EOLTEC SCIROCCO has obtained the MCS Certification

EOLTEC, the first French manufacturer of small wind turbines, recently obtained the prestigious MCS certification for its 6 KW SCIROCCO wind turbine. This certification, obtained after an intensive approval work, is an outstanding figure of merit for quality and reliability, opening the door for British buyers of wind turbines to public incentives, and particularly high feed in tariffs of kilowatt-hours produced, thus making the installation quickly proftable.

Obtaining MCS certification is the goal of most manufacturers of small wind turbines for access to the UK market which is the most active in Europe thanks to government incentives in place. However, if the MCS Certification is highly coveted, it is rarely issued : to date, only 5 wind turbines can boast of having achieved. Obtaining MCS certification should allow EOLTEC allied with Weole ENERGY to experience a strong development. The SCIROCCO wind turbine is equipped with an alternator ALXION 400STK3M.
