February 2012- The METRONOME wind turbines from EOLYS-RE

The company EOLYS-RE based at St Hilaire de Voust in Vendee has initiated to develop from 2008 its range of wind turbines called METRONOME, and since 2011, EOLYS-RE has launched series of 2 models with rated powers equal to 6KW and 12 KW. The METRONOME range is constituted of 3-blade turbines on masts from 11 mt up to 18 mt height characterized by a smart design with a profiled and entirely faired nacelle. The generation of electrical energy starts from a low speed wind of 2.5 m/s. The wind turbine is also equipped with an intelligent electronic converter optimizing the torque and the efficiency at the various rotary speeds and allowing an outstanding silence of operation.
The METRONOME wind turbines 6KW and 12 KW integrate respectively the ALXION alternators 400STK3M and 500STK4M in direct drive without gear.
