DS2020 Servodrives

Extremely compact electronic servo drives for controlling brushless permanent magnet motors and in particular torque motors in single-axis applications. They are particularly suitable for transfer machine applications, test and measurement benches, winders/unwinders with powers up to 30 KW continuous and 60 KW maximum.

Advantages

  • The DS2020 is the new single-axis digital drive, deliberately designed with reduced dimensions.
    The current sizes of the four versions (50, 75, 85 and 125 mm) range from 2 to 48 A rms in continuous, and from 4 A rms to 96 A rms in maximum current.

  • Designed to work with different types of motors and position transducers
    The DS2020 drive is designed to control synchronous brushless motors with magnets or asynchronous motors (it is compatible with various feedback systems (resolver, single-turn and multi-turn HIPERFACE encoders, EnDat encoders, incremental encoders), as well as motors without sensor thanks to simulation and estimation algorithms.

  • User-friendly graphical user interface (GUI)
    The graphical user interface provides easy access to all functions, simplifying system settings, commissioning and monitoring. Communication with the PC is via a USB or RS422 interface

  • Integrated Safe Torque Off (STO) function
    The Safe Torque Off (STO) safety function is integrated as standard in each drive
