In cooled STK kit motors applications, the frames are normally machined with grooves for fluid circulation.This cooling circuit is closed by the user either by the chassis in which the kit's stator is integrated or by a cooling jacket.It is recommended to use clean, chemically and biologically filtered water to cool the motors effectively as deposits interfere with cooling.In certain applications where an obstruction risk may exist, the use of an external cooling serpentine can be an interesting solution because it allows replacement of the damaged cooling circuitry l provided that maximum performance is not required.Indeed, the use of an external serpentine wound around the motor housing is less efficient in terms of motor cooling.
